Amber Sterling is a consultant specializing in art and sustainability while pursuing a graduate degree in art history and curatorial studies. Her research focuses on the relationship between technology and humans, popular culture, the natural sciences and art – and the integration points of photography and new media studies. Prior to academia, she facilitated meaningful art experiences by commissioning artists for creative campaigns at Capitol Records.

Her commitments include active membership in Gallery Climate Coalition and initiating an ASL program for the arts. She supports Indigenous, Black, People of Color; queer; trans; neurodiverse; and differently-abled people.
